Immerse yourself in the vibrant scenes of Israel and the revered portraits of ancient rabbis brought to life through Ariel Louis's captivating oil paintings.
About
Welcome to my artistic world, where I bring the vibrant scenes of Israel and the revered portraits of ancient rabbis to life through the medium of oil painting. Inspired by the timeless techniques of Vermeer and the profound influence of my late father, David Louis my work reflects a deep connection to tradition and a passion for capturing the essence of my subjects. As a dedicated artist and craftsman, I also have the privilege of creating Baroque Flauto Traverso flutes, a skill I honed under the mentorship of the renowned flute maker Fridtjof Aurin. Each instrument I craft is made with the utmost care and precision, utilizing a rare stock of aged wood that has been meticulously processed to achieve unparalleled musical qualities.
Living in Maale Adumim with my wife Elisheva and our nine children, my art is a reflection of my life and heritage. I employ various styles and techniques to convey the rich cultural tapestry of Israel and the enduring legacy of its people.
My goal is to inspire and delight through both my paintings and flutes, providing an exceptional experience for art enthusiasts and musicians alike. I am always eager to answer any questions, accommodate special requests, and offer quick, friendly, and comprehensive service.
Thank you for visiting my website and exploring my work.
Sincerely,
Ariel Louis
